About

This local group of singers, founded in the 1950s, was until recently known as Taunton Ladies Choir (TLC). Due to the wide variety of music enjoyed the name was changed to Chorus which was considered a more apt description.

We are not just a singing chorus but provide entertainment with a wide range of classical, show and modern music (from medieval to Mamma Mia) interspersed with original comedy sketches and interesting musical facts. Over the years we have undertaken a large number of performances entertaining a wide variety of age groups. We are a non-profit making club and have made numerous donations to local charities.

We are available for functions including weddings, funerals, parties and club events and can tailor make you a programme with as few or as many singers, as suited to the size of the venue.
